Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how RENAI uses cookies and similar technologies on renai.pt, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your choices, and to understand how a site is used.
2. Our approach
We keep tracking to a minimum. When you first visit, no analytics or non-essential cookies are set. They load only if you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you choose "Reject", no analytics cookies are used. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you on every visit.
3. Analytics cookies we use
If you accept, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure how the Site is used. This typically sets the following cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another; stored for up to about two years.
- _ga_<id> — keeps session state for Google Analytics; stored for up to about two years.
These cookies help us see which pages are useful so we can improve the Site. They do not tell us your name or contact details.
4. Managing your choices
You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the Site. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out add-on.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The date above shows when it was last updated.
